Key Responsibilities
Design & Creative Leadership
- Lead concept development, master planning, and detailed landscape design for residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects.
- Ensure innovative, functional, and sustainable design solutions aligned with client requirements and brand standards.
- Review and approve design drawings, specifications, BOQs, and presentations.
- Stay updated with global landscape trends, materials, and sustainable practices.
Project & Team Management
- Manage and mentor landscape architects, designers, and junior team members.
- Allocate projects, set timelines, and monitor deliverables to ensure adherence to quality, cost, and schedule.
- Coordinate closely with execution, irrigation, horticulture, and procurement teams for seamless project handover.
- Conduct periodic design reviews and performance evaluations.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary design point of contact for key clients, consultants, and architects.
- Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and negotiations.
- Address client feedback and ensure timely design revisions and approvals.
Business Support & Strategy
- Support business development teams with design inputs, proposals, and tenders.
- Assist in budgeting, cost optimization, and value engineering at the design stage.
- Contribute to departmental strategy, process improvements, and design standards.
Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental norms, and project specifications.
- Implement quality control processes and documentation standards.
- Promote sustainable landscape practices including water management, native planting, and eco-friendly materials.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in B. arch In Landscape.
- 10–15 years of experience in landscape design, with at least 4–6 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating large-scale and complex landscape projects.
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion / Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
- Strong design sensibility, technical knowledge, and detailing skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management abilities.
- Sound understanding of plants, irrigation systems, hardscape materials, and construction practices.
- Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
